Burrowing Owl Photography Workshop
Burrowing Owls have become one my favorite subjects to photograph in the summer months. Unlike other owls, burrowing owls are active during the day, especially in the spring and summer when they gather food for their large broods. This species of owl prefers open areas with low ground cover. They can often be found perching near their burrow on fence posts and trees. The San Joaquin Valley is where to find large populations of these fascinating little creatures living in small social communities .They are very interesting and fun to watch. They provide lots of low level flying while hunting and are a great way to improve your photography skills. This is limited to four photographers. The cost of this afternoon workshop is $65.00. We will meet in Earlimart at 4:00pm and shoot until dusk.
